50 Cent

Curtis "50 cent" Jackson was born South Jamaica Queens New York. He grew up without his father and was raised by his mother Sabrina Jackson. His mother was a drug dealer and in 1983 when 50 cent was eight years old his mother was murdered. After his mothers death 50 cent went to live with his grandparents.

He began to box at the age of 11and at the age of 14 a neighbour opened up a boxing gym. When he wasn't at school he was sparring at the gym.

In the tenth grade, he was caught with guns, drugs and money by metal detectors at Andrew Jackson High School.

On May 24, 2000 50 Cent was shot 9 times out front of his grandparents house by Darryl "Hommo" Baum. 3 weeks later Hommo was murdered.
