Afroman AKA Joseph foreman was born and raised in palmdale, California. He started rapping in the 8th grade, He also played drums and guitar in church. He played NFL in Palmdale he was running back. His football career ended when he was hit from behind and nearly tore and broke every muscle in his sholder.

He released his firs album in 1998 called "My Fro-losophy". His best known song would be "Because I Got High" released in 2000.
