KRS-ONE

KRS-ONE was born Lawrence Parker August 20, 1965 in Flatbush, Brooklyn . He was homeless from the age 13 to 20.

He began his music career with the Boogie Down Production's album "Criminal Minded" in 1986.

After Boogie Down Productions finished he began his solo career with his first album "Return of The Boom Bap" 1993.

He formed the Stop the Violence Movement because he disliked the violence in Hip-Hop.
